How It All Started
Apicella Human Resources (AHR) was originally founded in the UK in 2003, when my wife launched a successful HR consultancy supporting small and medium-sized businesses across a wide range of industries. Her ability to connect with people and deliver practical, people-focused solutions shaped the foundation of what Apicella HR stands for today: authentic, trusted, and impact-driven HR support.
Now operating as a Swiss limited company (Sàrl), Apicella Human Resources has evolved to reflect our international experience and global reach — while staying true to our core belief: that people are the key to every successful transformation.
From Entrepreneurial Roots to Global Reach
While our beginnings were entrepreneurial, my own career journey took me deep into the corporate world—starting with Panasonic, and later moving into the packaging industry, with AGI, MWV, WestRock (now SmurfitWestRock), where I held senior roles supporting transformation at scale. Over the years, I’ve worked across businesses of all sizes, from family-run firms to global multinationals, and across a diverse range of industries including mobile technology, plastic injection molding, print and packaging, food and beverage, healthcare and pharma, personal care, high-end manufacturing machinery, and tobacco.
